Day 1: Drive to Semuliki Sempaya Hotsprings- Continue to Kibale Forest
Very early in the morning, you will be picked from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and begin
your drive to Sempaya Hotsprings for a viewing of the iconic hot springs that are also a birder’s
haven for those that love birds. We will get to explore the hot springs and continue to tea farms
and cocoa plantations before we journey forth to our booked safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Enjoy Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp
Wake up to a delicious breakfast before we set out to the park headquarters for briefing that
will grant us access to the trails that lead to the home of our closest relative, the Chimps. When
we finally come in their presence, we will get a full hour to enjoy them, watch and observe
them as they go about their day feeding or even frolicking above us in the trees. We return to
the lodge for lunch and a few minutes of rest before we set out for a nature walk at Bigodi
swamp that will present great opportunities for cultural encounters, primates, culinary experiences and so much more.

Day 3: Transfer to Mt Gahinga
After breakfast we will check out of the safari lodge and start the journey to Mt Gahinga. Check
into our accommodation for an evening of relaxation upon arrival and just enjoy the awesome
views in the distance of the Mufumbira ranges. Mt Gahinga offers a truly awesome Gorilla
trekking experience for its visitors. There is just something so unique about the Gorillas in Mgahinga.

Day 4: In the Presence of the Gentle Giants – transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
The day we have been waiting for is finally here! We set out for briefing that will usher us into
the remarkable home of the Mountain Gorillas. It may take a while before we finally stand face to face with the Giant Silverbacks, Mothers and Juveniles, but when we finally do, you will quickly forget the almost exhausting ascend of a hike and your face will beam of excitement of a long time dream finally coming true!

Day 5: Journey back to Kampala/Entebbe
We will check out of the lodge after breakfast and start the Journey to Kampala/ Entebbe for
our flight back home with a stop at the Uganda Equator for pictures and lunch.
