Very early in the morning, you will be picked from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and begin your drive to Sempaya Hotsprings for a viewing of the iconic hot springs that are also a birder’s haven for those that love birds. We will get to explore the hot springs and continue to tea farms and cocoa plantations before we journey forth to our booked safari lodge for dinner and overnight..

Wake up to a delicious breakfast before we set out to the park headquarters for briefing that will grant us access to the trails that lead to the home of our closest relative, the Chimps. When we finally come in their presence, we will get a full hour to enjoy them, watch and observe them as they go about their day feeding or even frolicking above us in the trees. We return to the lodge for lunch and a few minutes of rest before we set out for a nature walk at Bigodi swamp that will present great opportunities for cultural encounters, primates, culinary experiences and so much more..

After breakfast we will check out of the safari lodge and start the journey to Mt Gahinga. Check into our accommodation for an evening of relaxation upon arrival and just enjoy the awesome views in the distance of the Mufumbira ranges.
